Hilite Ltd has ceased trading

It is with deep sadness that we have to inform you that Hilite Ltd ceased trading on May 31st 2018.

We would like to thank all our clients, suppliers and staff for 32 great years but regret that the new GDPR regulations have made it impossible to continue as we would have liked.

Should anyone have any questions we can be emailed on mikehilite@mail.com We only have a skeleton staff but will aim to get back to you as soon as we can.

Thanks again,
Mike Chantry

P.S. Try this Idea Today

PS Try this idea today

Research has proved that after the headline the P.S. is the next most widely read part of any letter.

I think the reason is that after the headline (or sub head) has interested them the prospects quickly look to the end of the letter to see what they are likely to be letting themselves into, price, guarantee, offer etc.

The P.S. stands out and it’s an ideal place to re state your benefits and if you have a very soft offer spell that out too.

Looking at the overall letter layout here are my preferences:

  1. Put your company name and contact details at the foot of the letter, not the top.
  2. Use a "What's in it for me" benefit headline at the top of page 1 in place of the company letterhead contact details.
  3. Break up page 1 with a Johnson Box - approx 1½” x 3” box in the bottom right of the Page 1.  Again, highlighting one of the major benefits of buying today.
  4. Break up subsequent pages with relevant boxes and intriguing bullet points.  "Handwritten" margin notes can work too but they need to be handled with care.
  5. Include a real person signature in blue ink.
  6. Make sure the P.S. has strong copy rather than just an afterthought.
