Research has proved that after the headline the P.S. is the next most widely read part of any letter.
I think the reason is that after the headline (or sub head) has interested them the prospects quickly look to the end of the letter to see what they are likely to be letting themselves into, price, guarantee, offer etc.
The P.S. stands out and it’s an ideal place to re state your benefits and if you have a very soft offer spell that out too.
