I’m amazed how many emailers send out fancy HTML designed emails and are surprised by their low responses.
It’s like sending a brochure out in a direct mail shot without a sales letter.
We impressed two new clients recently simply by getting them to ditch their HTML emails and revert to friendly, personal looking, emails.
The more you can make it appear personal the better, but best not to resort to lies to do it.
