We would like to thank all our clients, suppliers and staff for 32 great years but regret that the new GDPR regulations have made it impossible to continue as we would have liked.
Should anyone have any questions we can be emailed on firstname.lastname@example.org We only have a skeleton staff but will aim to get back to you as soon as we can.
Several subscribers enjoyed our on-line Guru’s tips last week so I asked him for a few more.
Now direct marketing, whether on-line or off-line, is all about testing and you can't read the test properly if you can’t accurately track the results.
Matt’s two top tips is to use the following two Free Tools.
1 Google Analytics. There are lengthy books written on how to use Google Analytics to the maximum so I won’t go into any more information here just to say you should be using it.
Set it up by simply installing Google Analaytics. Then set up “Google Goals”. Log into Analytics, go to the “Admin” sections then click “Goals” and follow the instructions.
Google Goals will allow you to track email enquiries such as date, time, location and keyword searched. Best way to get started is to set it up and play with it.
2 Webmaster Tools (WMT) is another free analytic tool from Google. It will help you monitor your sites presence in Google Search Results. Another advantage is that if your site is active in WMT it stands a better chance of being fully indexed.
As I said, the best way to fully understand these tools is to set them up and just play.
