How old is your website? I’m sure when it was first constructed you were very proud of the finished site and hopefully delighted with the responses you were getting.
Problem is over the years things change and the logical customer journey you had planned is now leading them down the wrong path.
The website is one of the first things our CRM team look at when they take on a new client. We look at it from the eyes of a new prospect and do you know what? Less than 40% are anywhere near perfect AND over 15% have major flaws.
One simple way to check is to contact your newest prospects who came in from the website and call them. Problem is many more prospects may not be getting that far.
So try to play the part of a prospect and be as critical as you can. Hopefully you will spot most of the problems and see what needs to be done to put it right.
